Lao workers benefitting from improved labour policies
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Labour authorities say Lao workers have benefited from greater support in recent years and the majority of young people can now access some form of job skill development.
For several years, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare has been attempting to train workers by equipping young people from poor backgrounds with essential vocational skills.
Young people now have more opportunities to improve their skills thanks to the ministry’s improved labour policies.
